APES AP Test Students- Review sessions for the AP Environmental Science test with Mr. Thelen will take place starting MONDAY, APRIL 16th during Seminar.  The first session will discuss format and possible FRQ topics.


Book Club - We are wrapping up our current book - This is Where it Ends. Come to Mr. B’s room Monday 4-16 during seminar for a small discussion.  See Mr. B, Lauren Kraco, or Maria Vostrizansky for details.

FCCLA: CURRENT MEMBERS please plan on attending a general membership meeting on Monday April 16th and Friday April 20th during seminar, and THURSDAY after school. If you come to the meeting on Thursday after school, food will be provided. If you can’t make either of these meetings please see Mrs.Blake after school sometime. THANK YOU! (KEEP UNTIL 4/20)

Prom guest forms are now available in the main office.  If you are bringing a guest from another school you will need a guest form and it must be filled out completely before buying tickets.  Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 23. Prom tickets will cost $40 each and Post Prom tickets will be $15 each.


Student Services

If you signed up to take an AP Exam in May you will need to attend an AP Pre-Administration session.  They will be held on the following dates during seminar:  Last name A-L Monday April 16th, Last name M-Z Friday April 20th, with make-up dates on Monday April 23rd and Friday April 27th.


Seniors - the DeWitt Education Association is offering a scholarship to interested seniors.  Stop into Student Services if you are interested. Deadline is April 20.

     


Athletics / Recognitions


The Varsity Softball Team improved to 2 and 1 on the season last night with 16 to 4 and 17 to 0 wins over East Lansing.  In Game One, Mattie Leece led off with a solo dinger while Kelli Teszlewicz went 2 for 4, and Kilee Way-Walton wen 3 for 4.  Paige Maltby earned the win, fanning 6 batters. In Game 2, the Panthers dominated the Trojans behind a no-hitter from Paige Maltby.  At the plate, Kayla Bevier had 2 hits and an RBI, while Camryn Bekkering ended the game with a 3-run dinger. The panthers head to a tournament at East Lansing on Saturday.  Come out and support these ballplayers.


Attention DeWitt Varsity Football players - Anyone signed up for the Clinton County Clean Up on April 21st needs to stop up and see Coach Wilson in Room 220 to get a release form and information regarding the event.  You must have the release form signed in order to participate in the event. (Read until 4/20)


VARSITY AND JUNIOR VARSITY FOOTBALL

There is a meeting today during seminar in the presentation room. It is very important to attend. Bring something to write with.
