Attention… Attention….Video Game Club party tonight 6PM to 11PM. Sign -up during both lunches.Tournaments include Halo 2 v 2, Mario Kart, Smash Bros 4, WII Bowling, League of Legends.  Fortnite is also being played, in a non tournament format.

Prom guest forms are now available in the main office.  If you are bringing a guest from another school you will need a guest form and it must be filled out completely before buying tickets.  Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 23. Prom tickets will cost $40 each and Post Prom tickets will be $15 each.

APES Test Review Session- AP Environmental Science Review session in Mr. Thelen’s room will cover the Air and Atmosphere Units.  Stop by to get a review sheet if you have other commitments.


NHS Volunteers Needed! Attention all NHS students interested in earning 3 service hours! Mr. Palmer and Mr. Delaney are running their annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament after school on Monday, April 23rd and they are in need of 5 or so High School volunteers to help with scorekeeping and operations of the tournament. You are needed from 3PM to 6PM. Please email Mr. Delaney at delaneyb@dewittschools.net or call his school phone at 668-3332 if you can volunteer! Thank you! (Keep until Friday, April 20th)




Students and teachers are reminded to encourage one another to participate in the Leukemia Society fundraiser that will run until mid-May. Please take a moment and notice the box in your room that has been designated to assist those families in need. If you can spare a dollar or loose change every now and then it would be greatly appreciated. As an incentive and "thank you"the Seminar class that raises the most money by May 4th will receive an Olive Garden lunch with the second place class getting a pizza party. Please donate to a worthy cause and encourage others to the same.


Do you have an OVERDUE Library book if so fines have been added to your account. Either return your book or pay the fine, or if you have any questions please see Mrs. Sheridan a.s.a.p. All library books and fines must be return or paid by May 24th!! (4/20)

Student Services

If you signed up to take an AP Exam in May you will need to attend an AP Pre-Administration session.  They will be held on the following dates during seminar:  Last name M-Z today, with make-up dates on Monday April 23rd and Friday April 27th.

Seniors - the DeWitt Education Association is offering a scholarship to interested seniors.  Stop into Student Services if you are interested. Deadline is April 20.

Athletics / Recognitions


The Varsity Softballers downed the Williamston Hornets last night 15 to 2 and 18 to 0.  In Game One, Kilee Way-Walton led the way with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs, while Camryn Bekkering, Paige Rush, and Mattie Leece also added doubles and multiple RBIs.  Karly Rothwell smacked a triple, going 2 for 3 and Paige Maltby earned the win, fanning 9 batters. In Game two, the panthers dominated behind Maltby’s second no-hitter of the season.  Leece led the way with 6 stolen bases, while Alleyna DeSmith, Kayla Bevier, Ashleigh Armstrong, and Kelli Teszlewicz all had RBIs. The panthers improve to 4 and 1 on the season and travel to face a good Fowlerville team today.


JV Football-don’t forget about weight training on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
