BPA is organizing a Toys for Tots Holiday Giving Tree: There is a tree in the Panther Pause Cafe with tags. If you want to help kids have an amazing Christmas this year, please stop by the cafe and pick a tag off the tree.  Purchase the item and return it to the box in the store before December 13. The toys do not need to be wrapped. Thanks for helping to support Toys for Tots and DeWitt BPA. (12/9)


All cast members of the special winter theater project should stop down to Mr. Croley's room to pick up a rehearsal schedule sometime today during Seminar or during lunch. (12/9)

This month’s Math League will be Tuesday, December 13th during seminar. (Read through Dec. 12th)


The DHS Renaissance Club -- is hosting a holiday door decorating contest. We invite every seminar class to decorate the outside of their classroom doors with a holiday theme by December 14th. Doors will be judged and the winning seminar will receive a prize before the holiday break. Participants, please DO NOT ask our art teachers or the media specialist for supplies for this project. Choir Trip - There will be a MANDATORY meeting for any student going on the Choir Toronto Trip today during Seminar. If you are not able to attend please see Ms. Eldred as soon as possible for required paperwork. (12/9)

Student Services

College Visit - Lake Superior State University will be visiting today during Seminar.  Sign up in Student Services.


Anyone interested in an Eaton ISD program for next year, today is the last day you can sign up for the field trip which will take place on Tuesday, December 20th.  The field trip is mandatory if you are planning on an ISD program next year.  



Athletics / Recognitions


Freshmen boys basketball: The boys freshmen team raised their record to 2 - 0 with a 46-31 win over Mason last night.  Mikhail Sacla led the team with 9 points and 7 rebounds…. Noah Behovitz added 6 rebounds, while Michael Nehf (Neff) came off the bench to score 8 points. The freshmen and JV teams play next Thursday at home vs St. Johns. (12/9)


Anyone interested in playing varsity football in the fall of 2017 needs to attend an informational meeting today during seminar, in the gym. Don’t forget to bring something to write with.  


Congratulations to Elaina DeRose : Elaina was named to the State Journal Dream Team for girls golf and is a finalist for player of the year for the Lansing Area. Congrats also to Mackenzie Smith and Morgan Colby who were named to the Division 2 All Area team.  Way to go ladies!
