Pride Alliance: is having a movie night in Mr. Croley's room to watch a short documentary about how people get along despite their differences in Saugatuck-Douglas, Michigan, eat pizza, and talk. If you want to attend, please sign up on the sheet outside Mr. Croley's door. The movie night will be February 24, 2016 at 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. (1/27- 2/24)
Hey DHS!! Winterfest is coming around the corner, and spirit week is starting February 16th. Tuesday is PAJAMA Day. Wednesday is sports day where you wear anything sports related, jerseys, uniform or athletic gear, then Thursday pick a friend for Twin Day, lastly on Friday the 19th pull out all your DeWitt spirit gear.
THEN Saturday, February 20th come out to Munn Ice Arena to skate with your friends for just $8! Doors open at 8:45.
Student Government is sponsoring a blood drive on Friday, February 26th. Sign up will begin at both lunches on Wednesday, February 17th. Donate and you could save up to 3 lives!!!
ART Club Members: There will be a meeting today during Seminar in Ms. Norman’s room, 301. We will be setting up our date to work on an art project for the coffee shop. See you all then.
The Rose Sale is going on NOW! The Valentine’s Day rose sale is happening now, during both lunches. Roses are $2 each, and you may buy just 1, or as many as you’d like! If you buy a dozen, the roses will be delivered in a complimentary vase! Roses will be delivered Thursday February 11th during Seminar, so you MUST purchase your roses by the end of the day Wednesday. Buy one for your Valentine today!
BOOK CLUB: We are reading Emory’s Gift by W. Bruce Cameron. There is currently a copy available at the Haslett library as well as the Holt library. The book can also be easily found on IBooks. We will meet during seminar in the coming weeks to discuss and will meet towards the end of February at the bookstore to have our final discussion and select the next novel. AP Exams - Juniors and Seniors can now sign up to take the AP exams which will be held in May. A $15.00 deposit per exam is required at the time of sign up. The total cost for each exam is $92.00. Sign up in Student Services.

Freshmen Boys Basketball played a great game defeating St. John's last night 65-30. Michael Joseph led with 14 points followed by Ben Tanke with 11 and Ryan Heath adding 10. Jerod McCullen led the team in steals. Great job!
The JV Boys Basketball Team , with a great defensive effort, improved their overall record on the season to 10-3 by defeating school rival St. Johns last night 57-27. Great effort guys! Their next outing is at Portland next Tuesday. (2/5)
