Attention all newly inducted NHS members: For those of you who have not yet paid your dues please understand NHS dues need to be turned in by today. Checks should be made payable to --DHS NHS-- Cash or checks are accepted and should be turned in to Mr. Croley any day during Seminar.

BOOK CLUB - We are reading the Hunger Games. See Mr. B for a copy. We also have concession opportunities coming up. If you need community service hours, see Mr. B as well. (1-18-19)

Today during Seminar there will be a SHARE session in Mr. Croley's room a.k.a. "THE IDEA HIVE" -- SHARE sessions are simply a time when students share stories, read creative pieces of writing, perform monologues, sing, or share other personal forms of expressions in front of an intimate and respectful audience. If you have ever attended a Poetry Slam then you are well aware of the safe atmosphere in which this event will take place. Everyone is welcome to attend, so go to the IDEA HIVE and embrace the fact that being different is the one thing we all have in common. (1/11)

Attention those of who you enjoy going to concerts: The Yearbook staff is looking for a few more photos to be featured in the book. If you have photos of you and/or a group of friends who have attended a concert please send them to dewitthsyearbook2019@gmail.com by next Tuesday as the deadline for this spread is quickly approaching. Concert photos must be from this year, please no photos from past years. Thank you. (1/14)

Student Services

AP TESTING: Any student in an AP class first and/or second semester wanting to take an AP exam you must sign up for test by going online. A student can find that information on the DeWitt High School webpage under Student Services.  Any questions please see your counselor.

LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS: Applications are available online by going to the Student                                                          Services on the DHS webpage. Local Scholarships are available to all seniors.


Athletics / Recognitions

Men’s Swim and Dive Beats Haslett 107-76 to move to 3 wins and 0 losses: Relay combinations of Myles Michalski, Nate Schluckebier, Dillon Blair and Jackson Uyl won the 200 Medley and 400 free relay and overall for the night DeWitt outscored Haslett 28-14 in relay events to push their unbeaten streak to 3 meets. Jackson Uyl won the 200 free, Dillon Blair won the 100 fly and Myles Michalski won the 100 back. The diving trio of Brennen Crown, Mason Sermak and Avery Powell took the top 3 places in diving! The boys are home the next two Thursday nights so come on out and support the team! (1/11)
