Key Club:  Is having a meeting in the library today.  Also, if you would like to volunteer your time at the Volunteers of America, there are some dates and times available, starting with this Saturday, January 16th!  Sign up outside Mrs. Schafer’s room.  


The baseball Spaghetti dinner is Friday, January 22 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.  Tickets can be purchased from baseball players or at the door.  


Student Services:

Local Scholarship applications are now available! - Any senior interested in scholarship opportunities, stop into Student Services.  There are many great scholarships available for seniors.

AP Exams - Juniors and Seniors can now sign up to take the AP exams which will be held in May.  A $15.00 deposit per exam is required at the time of sign up.  The total cost for each exam is $92.00.  Sign up in Student Services.


Athletics / Recognitions


DeWitt Lacrosse Club Information Night - Wednesday, January 27th at 7:30 in the Junior High Auditorium.  This meeting is for girls and boys JV and Varsity players and parents.


Men’s Swim and Dive Improves to 3-0 with 123-58 win over Grand Ledge. Wins for the Panthers came in the 200 Free and 100 Free from Cameron Sackett. The 1 meter diving event with Nick Counseller. Ryan Armbrustmacher won the 100 backstroke and Nick Schieberl won the 100 breaststroke. The 200 free relay team of Schieberl, Myles Michalski, Jacob Skaar, and Sackett and the 400 free relay team of Skaar, Ryan McVicker, Conor Sands, and Armbrustmacher. The team travels to Lake Orion on Saturday. (1/15)


Boys Freshmen Basketball  improved their record to 7-0 with a big win over Haslett last night 43-30.  Ryan Heath and Derek Hamp led all scoring with 14 points each and Ben Tanke added 10 points.  Derek Hamp also led the team in steals and assists. Great job team!  Their next game is Monday against Ionia.
