Next Wednesday the Creative Writing class would like to invite all students to a Poetry Slam in Mr. Croley's room a.k.a. "THE IDEA HIVE" --Where creativity and intellect collide and ideas turn to action!
---In this safe and supportive environment words will bounce off the walls and positive synergy will fill the air. The Poetry Slam gets underway at 5:30 and will conclude by 7:30. There will be music and refreshments provided for those attending. This event is FREE. Come read an original work, read a poem you like, share a story, or simply come and listen.
Volunteers are needed on Friday, March 24th for the Life Unplugged program, which was formerly called Reality Store, that the 8th grade students participate in. Volunteers are needed from 7:45 to 11:00 and 12:30 to 2:30 at the Junior High and will be helping the students with different tasks at 16 different stations. Please sign up by Friday, March 17th in Student Services if you are interested.
