DeWitt Creativity Group, English Department, DHS Theater Department: will be holding an appreciation day for DHS teachers and students on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Barnes and Noble Bookstore at the Lansing Mall. There will be a series of events and meetings from 11:00 AM through 7:00 PM involving the DHS Book Club, Creative Writing Club, Improv Set, Curious George Story time, National Storytime, Pride Alliance meeting, an acoustic set by Veronica Freel and so much more! Also, there will be a poetry slam from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Students, teachers, and others are encouraged to read poems for the whole mall to enjoy. There will be a special 20% discount for books for DHS students and teachers purchased during the DHS appreciation day and other free giveaways such as coupons to your favorite restaurants. SAT/WorkKeys/M-Step Testing- All Juniors you will be testing April 12-14. You will need the following: Calculator, Picture ID, and Number 2 pencils -NO mechanical pencils! Your cell phone will be collected and you may bring a snack and drink to have during testing breaks.
