Key Club There will be a meeting TODAY, Friday March 4th, in the Presentation Center. Please attend to hear about a new project and also about officer elections for next school year.
BOOK CLUB: We will meet Wednesday March 9th in Mr. B’s room. Please bring a book to nominate for our next reading selection. Or you can bring info from the web about a book you would like to read. We will make our selection that day. Then on Saturday April 16th, we will meet at Barnes and Nobles at 3pm to discuss. (3-9)

Seniors - We are still accepting scholarship applications for Shooks Science Scholarship and Dr. Grubaugh Outstanding Senior Mathematician Scholarship. Also, the DeWitt Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is now available. Stop into student services to pick up these applications.
AP Exams - Juniors and Seniors can now sign up to take the AP exams which will be held in May. A $15.00 deposit per exam is required at the time of sign up. The total cost for each exam is $92.00. Sign up in Student Services.
Attention next year’s interested CCRESA students - There will be a field trip to the CCRESA program in St. Johns on Wednesday, March 2. Please sign up in Student Services. There is a signup sheet and permission slip on the counter.

ATTENTION ALL SOFTBALL PLAYERS: If you are trying out for JV or VARSITY Softball, there will be a pre-season meeting WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9TH in COACH NOLEN’S ROOM 237, DURING SEMINAR. MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND. Tryouts begin March 14th. (3/2, 3/4, 3/9)

The Girls Varsity basketball team finished out the regular season on Friday with a win at Owosso, pushing their record to 18-2 overall and finishing tied for the CAAC-Red title with St. Johns and Haslett. The Class A state tournament began Monday night at Waverly with a match-up with Lansing Eastern. (3-2)
Men’s Swim and Dive Has Historic Weekend at Leagues! The team finished 3rd overall taking 4th place in the Medley Relay, 2nd place in the 200 Free Relay and Winning the 400 Free Relay. The 200 Free Relay team of Nick Schieberl, Jacob Skaar, Ryan McVicker and Ryan Armbrustmacher broke an 18 year old Varsity Record. The 400 Free Relay team of Cameron Sackett, Nick Schieberl, Conor Sands, and Ryan Armbrustmacher set a new Holt High School Pool Record. Individual top placers were Cameron Sackett 2nd in the 200 Freestyle, Ryan Armbrustmacher 2nd in both the 50 Free and 100 Free and Nick Schieberl won the 100 freestyle! The team now travels to EMU on March 11th and 12th for the Division 3 State Meet! Good luck gentleman and great meet this weekend! (2/29)

Attention Spring Sport Athletes: Make sure you have a physical completed and your form turned into the athletic office prior to the start of Spring sports on March. 14. You must have a physical card on file in order to practice on March 14. (now until March 11)
There will be a Varsity Football meeting Friday, March 4th in coach Zimm’s room during seminar.
Boys Freshmen Basketball: Finished the season with a 17-2 record. They split this week with a win over Everett and losing to Grand Ledge. Derek Hamp had 18 points and Ben Tanke had 17 in a 63-39 win over Everett. Derek and Ben also led in scoring with 17 and 10 points respectively in the loss to Grand Ledge 58-51. Great season!
The Boys JV Basketball Team finished their season last night with back-to-back wins over Lansing Everett (57-43) and Grand Ledge (53-45). The wins this week put their overall record at 15-4 for the season. Great season guys! (3 / 4)
