Do you want to join a club that makes our school a better place? The Renaissance Club  will be having a first meeting on Friday, October 30th in the library during Seminar.  Come check it out.  

DeWitt Creativity Group will hold a meeting today in Mr. Croley’s room during Seminar. The focus of the meeting will be on the fashion industry. Fashion Designer Jonathan Arias will present information about his apparel start up company and discuss with students how they can start their own fashion lines. Please read (10/21-10/23).

KEY CLUB  - Our Meeting is today during Seminar, in the presentation room.  We will also have an after school social event tonight until 3:30, in Mrs. Schafer’s room 120!  Members plan to stay after school for snacks, games, and just a chance to talk!

Film Club: There is a film club meeting today in the commons Friday during seminar….. which is right now!

Marching Band: If you have a sectional, please come to the band room.

Student Services:

College Visits today: Lawrence Tech will be here on Wednesday, October 28th.  Lake Superior State will be visiting on Friday, October 30. Sign up in Student Services if you wish to attend these college presentations.  

Sign up for the practice SAT is now available online through DeWitt Community Education.  The full practice SAT will be held on Saturday, December 5 from approximately 7:45 am - 1:00 pm.  Cost is $35.00.  There is limited space for this practice test.

HOBY Leadership Essay is due to Student Services by Wednesday, November 4.  

NCAA Eligibility Meeting: All juniors who have registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse please come down to the presentation room on Wednesday, November 11th during Seminar.  Brief meeting to go over eligibility requirements.

Athletics / Recognitions

All girls interested in trying out for girls basketball in November: Be sure to have your athletic physical completed and turned in to the athletic office before tryouts begin on Monday - November 9th.  Varsity tryouts will run from 3:00-5:30 that week in the high school gym, while JV and 9th grade tryouts will take place at Herbison Woods from 3:30-5:30 each day.  Contact Coach McCullen in Room 233 if you have any questions. Attention to anyone trying out for boys jv basketball, there is an informational meeting today in Mr. Reha’s room during Seminar. (10/23)

Girls interested in playing tennis this spring-if you are interested in pre season training at Court One please see Elise Ostrander or pick up a flyer in the main office.

The Girls' Swim and Dive team lost to Okemos last night 100 - 86. Brooke Spitzley, Katrina Elzinga, Natalie Schieberl, Sarah Stine and Sydney Shipps all took  first places.
