Prom guest forms and Post Prom guest forms are now available in the main office.  If you are bringing a guest from another school you will need a guest form and it must be filled out completely before buying tickets.  Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 23. Prom tickets will cost $35 each and Post Prom tickets will be $15 each.

Did you take Mr. McCullen’s Psychology class during the third nine weeks? If so, stop up to see him today if you would like to participate in the hypnosis presentation during fourth block on Thursday - April 26th! If you want to be a brave volunteer who gets hypnotized on stage, you will also need to get a parental permission slip signed. See Mr. McCullen if you have questions. (Please read on 4/23 and 4/25)

There will be an AP LANG STUDY SESSION this Friday, April 27th in Mrs. Caler’s room during seminar. First semester and current students are welcome.

Students who had artwork in the community showcase or had art with Ms. Schultz during the third nine weeks, stop by Ms. Schultz’s room to pick up your artwork.  You have until this Friday, the 27th.

APES Test Review Session- Come to Mr. Thelen’s room during seminar today to receive and discuss the topic list for the Populations and Energy Units.  If you are unable to attend, stop by sometime to get the sheet.

Attention Seniors-If you are interested in helping with Baccalaureate planning please sign up if the main office.  Baccalaureate will be May 29th.

Students and teachers are reminded to encourage one another to participate in the Leukemia Society fundraiser that will run until mid-May. If you can spare a dollar or loose change every now and then it would be greatly appreciated. The seminar class that raises the most money by May 4th will receive an Olive Garden lunch with the second place class getting a pizza party.  

Congratulations to the DHS Choirs and Soloists on their performances at State Solo & Ensemble on Saturday. All 5 soloists, Christine Ciucanu, Emma Clark, Zack Freeman, Alyssa Handspike, and Hannah Rick, received Division 1 ratings. Christine Ciucanu and Emma Clark’d duet and all 3 ensembles - The Men of Chamber, Women’s Select Ensemble, and Chamber Singers - also received Division 1 ratings. The Chamber Singers were chosen in the top 25 choirs in the state, Christine and Emma’s duet was chosen to perform at Michigan Youth Arts Festival, and Emma Clark was chosen as one of the top 12 soloists in the state. Emma will now move on to compete for Soloist of the Year on Tuesday evening. Go Panthers!

If you signed up to take an AP Exam in May you will need to attend an AP Pre-Administration session.  Last name A-L if you didn’t fill out your sheet last week today is your make-up day. Last name M-Z your make-up day will be this Friday.
