A reminder to all staff, students, and members of the DeWitt Creativity Group: The DCG will be hosting a Bookfair all this week at Barnes and Noble in the Lansing Mall. If you still need to do some last minute shopping or just a book lover looking for your next read, stop out to Barnes and Noble and let the cashier know you are supporting "DeWitt" upon checking out. Part of all proceeds will go back to the DCG to help support unique learning experiences for students in the areas of creativity, innovation, STEAM, and project based learning.
A reminder to the cast of the winter show: There will be a rehearsal tomorrow from 2:30 - 5:30. This is for all speaking roles however all cast members are more than welcome to attend. Character work will be the emphasis.

DeWitt Creativity Group: Due to the snow day last week and half day Wednesday, the DCG Game Night has been rescheduled for the second week of January on Thursday the 12th from 6:00 - 9:00. Mark your calendars! All are welcome.

Athletics / Recognitions
The Girls Varsity Basketball team raised its record to 5-0 overall, and 2-0 in the CAAC-Red with a 55-37 victory over St. Johns Friday night. Grace George led all scorers with 20 points, while Maddie Petersen added 13 points and Jessah McManus chipped in with 10 points. The girls will compete in the Williamston Hornet Holiday Showcase Wednesday against Sexton and Thursday against Belding. (12/19)
Wrestlers won the prestigious Brighton Duals this weekend! Going undefeated for the panthers were Jackson Severns, Sam York, Lucas McFarland, and Gabe Larner. Great job by all the guys! (12/19)
