The Renaissance Club is excited to host our 2nd annual Seminar Door Decorating Contest. The theme is SPRING FEVER! So start thinking about warm spring weather and get creative. Design a door that will warm up our wintery spirits.

Judging will take place March 26 and winners will enjoy their prizes the last full day before spring break. Seminar teachers have contest information and rubrics, please contact Mrs. Marble if you have questions.

TODAY -- March 19th there will be auditions for the spring show beginning at 3:00. Auditions will be from 3-5:30. Show dates are scheduled for May 10th, 11th, and 12th with Tech/Dress Rehearsals happening May 2nd through May 9th.  You must be conflict free during these dates to be considered. Auditions today should conclude by 5:30 or shortly thereafter.    


Students attending the Chicago Theater Trip need to bring in all forms and the deposit by this Thursday. Please see Mr. Croley if you have questions.


BOOK CLUB - We are reading Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. We will meet to discuss this coming-of-age classic at Barnes and Nobles this Sunday, March 25th, from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. If you finished the book or even if you haven’t reached the resolution, stop by for some coffee and a book chat. Bring your copies with you as there are many great quotes to discuss. Choirs’ New York Trip: There will be a meeting about the high school choirs’ trip on Thursday, March 22nd at 6pm in the choir room. You MUST attend this meeting in order to register for the trip, spots are limited. Remember that you must be signed up for a choir next year in order to go on the trip. (3/21)


Grease Auditions are TOMORROW. Your audition piece must be memorized and you must attend the dance audition at 2:30pm in the auditorium. To check your audition time please see the choir room door - there are over 115 students auditioning for the show so please be on time! Any men auditioning with “Greased Lightning” need to see Ms. Eldred TODAY during Seminar! (3/19)


Marching Band next Wednesday, March 21 @ seminar will be final selection of drum major for next year. Be there if you are a member to make your voice heard. Don’t be late, we’re starting when the bell rings. (3/21)



Dewitt Community Showcase is almost here, Thursday, April 12th.  This is a great way to show off any musical talent you have to the community.  If you would like to have a 15 minute slot to sing or play an instrument, please see Mrs. Griffes or Mrs. Williams.  


SAT STUDY SESSIONS

There will be SAT study sessions TODAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY during seminar in Ms. Huff’s room 235. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Caler or Ms. Huff. (3/21)
