DeWitt Creativity Group: There will be a meeting during Seminar in Mr. Croley’s room on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 to discuss a DeWitt Public School District event on diversity. We would like for students to discuss their experiences with diversity at DHS with other community members. (10/31)


Key Club: There is a meeting TODAY after announcements in the presentation center!  Please come if you want to be a member or just want to join the fun of doing good for others!  Important information will be shared as well as signing up for volunteer opportunities. (10/29)


First Nine Weeks Ceramics Class: Don’t forget there is a glaze party in Ms. Schultz’s room after school today until 4:00.  (10/29)

NHS applications are available in the main office all this week.(11/2)


Reminder today is the BPA blood drive.  Please double check your scheduled time and report to the wrestling room at that time.  


Book Club - we will meet this Friday - November 2nd, at 6:00 at Barnes and Nobles (read thru 11-2)



Student Services


Attention Sophomores -  Sophomores interested in expanding their leadership skills - Student Services selects one student to participate in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) program.  To be that potential students, please stop into Student Services for an essay application. Application deadline is Monday, November 5th.


Athletics / Recognitions

A huge shout out to the Varsity Quiz Bowl Team. They went undefeated in the CAAC Conference this fall and have earned berths in both the state championship in April and the national championship in May. (10/29)


Any tennis player interested in winter tennis:  There will be a brief informational meeting in Coach Hitchcock’s room 101 after school Tuesday October 30th.  This meeting will only last 10-15 minutes. (10/29)


Attention all girls planning to tryout for basketball on Monday - November 12th: Varsity tryouts will run from 3:00-5:30 at the high school, while JV and Freshman tryouts will be held together at DeWitt Junior High School from 3:00-5:00. Tryouts will run for three days. Players must have a physical on file with Mrs. Boyle in the athletic office in order to participate. (10/29-10/31)


Congrats go out to the Girls Cross Country team for winning the Regional Championship and for qualifying for the State Meet to be held this Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. The Panthers were led by Ashley Shipps, Sofia Perez, Kaitlyn Hynes, Elsa Rusthoven, Elise Snyder, Grace Hungerford and Delaney Kirinovic. Great Job Ladies! (10/29)
