Jazz Band - Rehearsal Every morning this week at 7am in the band room. 7 is when we play, not when you arrive! We will also rehearse during seminar. Miss a rehearsal and you will not go with us - please be there.


CULINARY CLUB - please meet this Friday in room 207 during Seminar. (4/29)


Robotics - There will be a meeting Thursday, May 5th after school to discuss the game for next year and to tear apart your robots. If you are interested in joining the club for next year contact Mr. Bush. (5/5)


Prom Information:  Prom is Saturday, May 7th at Eagle Eye from 8:00-11:00 P.M. Tickets will go on sale during both lunches starting Wednesday, April 27th and the cost is $35/person.  Guest permission forms are available in the office.  They are due Monday, May 2.


PROM!  For those of you needing prom attire, go to Rehmanns in downtown St. Johns!  They can save you money and help you look sharp! EVERY rental from Rehmanns earns $5 for your Post Prom!


Post Prom 2016  Will be at Spare Time Entertainment Center from 11:30 -3:30 A.M.  Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 27th, and the cost is $15/person.  Each student attending must purchase a post prom ticket.  Your ticket includes EVERYTHING AT THE EVENT:  unlimited bowling, laser tag, laser maze, arcade games, beach volleyball, outdoor games, chilling around the fire pit, other games & surprises, great food, and a chance to win amazing raffle items! Post Prom guest forms are in the office and only need to be completed if you and your guest are attending post prom ONLY.  If you fill out a prom guest request form, this covers you for both events.    


AP Lang Study Session Don’t forget--there is an AP Lang Study Session in Mrs. Caler’s room after school today. Even if you haven’t signed up, you are still welcome to attend.  


The DHS Renaissance Club is hosting a HAIR DRIVE for Children with Hair Loss. We are looking for students who are willing to donate 8 inches of their hair during school on May 10, don’t worry your hair will be cut by professional stylists. Please help some amazing kids who have lost their hair.  If you don’t have 8 inches of hair to donate, you can “Give a Heart to Save a Heart” by purchasing a heart for display. All proceeds go to Children With Hair Loss. See Mrs. Marble in room 128 if you are interested or would like more information.




Student Services:


AP Exam money is due before you take the exam.  Please stop in and pay your balance within the next week.


Athletics / Recognitions


Any DeWitt Varsity Football players signed up to participate in the Clinton County Clean Up on Saturday, April 30th, need to have their volunteer release form filled out and turned in to Coach Wilson by Friday, April 29th.  If the form is not turned in prior to Saturday, you will not be able to participate.  Also see Coach Wilson for additional information on the event. There will be  a JV girls volleyball meeting Friday in the library. Your coach will be here to talk with you and for any questions. (4/29)


Boys Soccer - will meet in sensei’s room today during seminar for those interested in playing next year.  There will be information regarding summer league. (4/27)
