Attention ALL Students- ALL lunches are to be eaten in the LUNCHROOM! If you have 1st or 2nd lunch you should not be in the library. I repeat, your lunch time is in the lunchroom not the library!

Theater Department: Attention all Theater students, curiosity seekers, and those of you who desire to part of something uniquely memorable and meaningful--  Auditions for the winter show will take place tomorrow Thursday, Dec. 17th starting at 2:45. Please mark your calendars and plan on meeting in Mr. Croley’s room by 2:45 for a quick meeting prior to moving down to the theater. The show requires a cast that is extremely courageous, highly energetic, and understands the importance of discovering things which require them to go out of their comfort zone on a regular basis. Auditions should conclude by 5:30. (12/16)

LINKS-- There is a LINKS meeting in the commons today during seminar.

Key Club If you’d like to make fleece blankets for St. Vincent’s, the sign up is outside Mrs. schafer’s room.  This will be tomorrow, Thursday, after school in Mrs. Blake’s room.  If participating, please bring cutting/sewing scissors and Money for Abbey Wade.  Also, still need 3 people to be a bell ringer this Saturday, December 19th.  Sign up is outside Mrs. Schafer’s room.  LASTLY...if you are interested in caroling on Friday, Dec. 18th see either Mrs. Schafer or Taylor Villarreal.

Dewitt Conservation Club will be meeting today during seminar in Mr. Acre’s room.

Book Club We are reading The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. If you enjoyed the insanity that is Gone Girl, this is right up your alley. Stop by Mr. B’s room if you would like a copy or talk to Abey Wade or Lily Splawn, they can help get a copy in your hands. Christmas break is a the perfect time to curl up with a good book. We will head to Schuler’s for coffee and discussion in early January. Get your copy today! finally, if you are in Book Club, pictures are this Friday during Seminar. (12/18)

There is a BPA meeting today during seminar in the Presentation room.

If you have a High School library book and leave it in your seminar class for SSR reading, it is probably overdue and needs to be renewed or returned. All overdue books need to be either returned or renewed before break. Please see Mrs. Sheridan in the library for any questions.

Scholarship opportunity for seniors - The GRBS Perseverance Award Scholarship Application is now available in Student Services.  If you are interested in this scholarship, please pick up an application.  

NCAA Eligibility: All sophomores who are planning on to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse please see Mr. Crowley to assure you are meeting all NCAA requirements.

Athletics / Recognitions

There will be a Jr. Football meeting today in coach Zimm’s room. (12/16)

The Girls Varsity Basketball team raised its record to 5-0 with a 37-24 victory over Eaton Rapids last night, led by Lilly George’s 11 points and 6 rebounds.  Mackenzie Dawes chipped in with 10 points and Summer Ward added 7 rebounds.  The girls will play at home on Friday night at 6:00 against league rival St. Johns in a key CAAC-Red match-up. The JV Boys Basketball team defeated Eaton Rapids last night 63-25.  Their next outing is Thursday at St. Johns. (12/16/15)
