AP Government Exam Review Session: There is an AP U.S. Government & Politics review session TODAY during Seminar in the PRESENTATION ROOM.  If you would like to brush up on your vernacular or just want to hear Mr. Brya say the word “vernacular” then please attend.  Teachers, attendance will be taken and email to you.

Reminder Student Leadership Elections! If you are planning on running for Student Government then your applications are due today at 3pm! Drop them off to Mrs. Anderson in room 221 or to her mailbox in the office.  Ballots will be released by Seminar tomorrow Thursday, May 3rd.

All NHS members planning on participating in the Day of Service There is an  important meeting today in Mr. Croley’s room. If you do not attend you may not be able to attend the Day of Service scheduled for next Monday, May 7th. Please come down as soon as possible.

The DeWitt H.S.Theater Department would like to invite you to the spring show on May 10th, 11th, and 12th at 7:00 p.m.. The show, entitled Divided States of America, is a collection of over 30 short sketches presented stylistically much in the same fashion as the famed Second City Comedy Club in Chicago that helped move Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, and Bill Murray to super-stardom. Next Thursday is student night where students get in for just $5 bucks. Otherwise, tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults. Seating is limited and general admission so get your tickets ahead of time and get in line early. Doors open at 6:45. You can purchase tickets all next week at lunch. So get your laugh on -- and go get a taste of big city theater! (please read Wed. 2nd and Fri. 4th)

Hey DHS! For the past month we have been doing a fundraiser called Pasta For Pennies to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! This fundraiser is coming to an end on Monday May 7th! Besure to bring your spare change or just donate to the white box that is located in your pride class! If we raise enough money for a prize then the top raising pride class will receive a OLIVE GARDEN LUNCH! And second place will get a PIZZA PARTY!!!! SO please donate your spare change! (read Wed. and Fri. this week)

Prom tickets are $35 each.  Tickets will be sold at lunch through Thursday.  No tickets will be sold on Friday. Repeat get your Prom tickets at lunch through Thursday, no tickets will be sold on Friday.

Post Prom: Luau 2018! Come join the Luau party at Zap Zone after prom from 11:15-3:30 A.M.!  Your $15 ticket includes unlimited lazer tag, bouncing in “Springz” trampoline area, Glo Golf, and bumper cars!  Along with delicious food and snacks, multiple raffle prizes every 15 minutes, and other activities such as henna & airbrush tattoo, a sleight of hand magician, karaoke with DJ Dela, and caricatures.  Arcade is pay on your own, so bring money for that if you wish. Even if you don’t go to Prom, you can still attend Post Prom if you’re a Jr. or Sr. So, put on the perfect Luau attire, and join the party at Zap Zone!  

Marching Band: Rehearsals for Memorial Day will begin on May 7 and run on Mondays and Wednesdays until Memorial Day. Remember these are mandatory and part of your grade - be a good human and be there for AMERICA! (5/7)

Book Club - make sure you are signed up for Remind. Please return “This is Where it Ends” to Mr. B. We a starting our last book of the year, Speak. Mr. B will have copies by Friday. We will read Speak and then hold our final discussion at the Crafted Bean in DeWitt on Sunday May 20th at 11:00am.

Girls Soccer -   A key victory for the DeWitt girls soccer team on Monday night!  They defeated Haslett 2-1. Haslett is ranked 5th in the state so great job ladies!

Girls Track Team - Congrats to out the DeWitt Lady Panthers track team for beating Haslett last night. The Panthers won 74-63.  Great Job Ladies!!
