Students Interested in Traveling to Washington DC for the Presidential Inauguration in January: There will be an informational meeting TODAY during SEMINAR in the library. This trip is open to any current freshmen, sophomore, and junior. If you attended the first meeting, there is no need to attend today’s meeting. See Mr. Brya in room 130 if you have questions.
LINKS- Please let Ms. Huff know ASAP if you are planning on going on the field trip next week to NCG for our end of the year outing. We will be leaving at 7:50 and returning for a pizza party. The cost is $8 for the movie and popcorn. Pizza is free. We need to know in advance who is attending in order to give NCG an accurate count.
CULINARY CLUB MEMBERS: Inform Ms. Arnett TODAY if you are going to dinner TONIGHT. Every member must see her in person in room 207 TODAY.
The Theater Department would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the spring theater night next Tuesday May 31st. The performance will feature students from the Acting I and Acting II classes as well as members of the improve troupe. The evening will be themed “Psychologically Safe” and consist of a talk back session following the performance. The cost is $5.00 and activities get underway at 7:00. Students from Acting I this year and all students who signed up for an Acting class next year should make every effort to attend.
The yearbooks are in! They will be passed out today and tomorrow during both lunches. Only pre-sale books will be distributed to seniors and juniors today during lunch. Sophomores and freshman will get their yearbooks Thursday during lunch. If by chance you are absent one of these days you can pick up your book Friday right after school. So today during lunch… chew quickly, talk less, then get in line to pick up your historical memoir book and hug a yearbook staff member for their efforts in creating something out of nothing.
A special invitation to all students who desire to be in Creative Leadership: Opportunities for Social Innovation class: Next Wednesday June 1st the current Creative Leadership class will host a night of expression and reflection at Eagle Eye. The event will run from 7:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. Students will share personal and group initiatives as well as photos and videos pertaining to newly discovered knowledge, personal growth, and unique learning experiences. If you signed up for Creative Leadership next year you should definitely attend.
Seniors-- Senior breakfast is right after commencement rehearsal on June 3rd. Also, be sure to pick up your t-shirt at lunch so that you can wear it on Friday.
Students taking AP English Literature next year, please attend a mandatory meeting with Mr. DeLaCruz next Wednesday, May 25 during Seminar where you will receive instructions for summer fun. (5/25)

This Week In Varsity Softball: 5 days, 7 games, 5 wins, 50 innings...including a 14-inning MONSTER game on Friday for a runner-up finish in the Greater Lansing Hall of Fame Classic. The panthers won a Conference Championship on Thursday, finishing 8-2 in the league. Currently, we are 18-10 and travel to Fowlerville on Tuesday and have our final home game vs. Marshall on Wednesday. District play begins on June 4 at DeWitt (vs. Eastern).
