There will be an important DeWitt Creativity Group meeting this Friday during Pride. For those of you who attended Art Prize, for those of you who put DCG down on your NHS application, for those of you who signed up during Club Days in the auditorium, and for those of you who have ever attended a DCG event in the past, this meeting is for you. Please make every effort to be in Mr. Croley’s room during Pride for a brief meeting and a special treat. (read through the end of the week)
BOOK CLUB: - We are reading Room by Emma Donoghue. Mr. Battaglia does have a total of 4 copies but they go fast. Stop by room 224 if interested. If you are unable to obtain one through Mr. B or the libraries, see Tracy Piotrowicz or Hannah Hutchinson, as they can help you find a copy in most circumstances. Even if you are not officially in book club, you are always welcome to join the conversation. We will be posting a meeting time at Schuller’s Books and Music in order to discuss the novel, so start reading today. (keep through 11-11)
Binders: Any student that left a binder in Mr. Phillips room, must pick it up by 2:30 today. Any binder left after 2:30 will be recycled at the end of the day.
SAT Test Workshop on December 3-DeWitt Community Education and Sylvan Learning Center is offering a SAT Workshop on Saturday, December 3 at DHS. Registration is open to DHS juniors (1st) and sophomores (2nd), then other school district students after November 1. Check out the DeWitt Community Education website to view the class flyer or to register. Don’t miss the great opportunity for SAT instruction.

DeWitt Creativity Group: There will be a presentation by the Michigan State University Greenpeace chapter on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM after school in the Presentation Room. Any students interested in the environment and other forms of ecological activism are invited to attend. For additional information, please see Chase Terwilliger.
FCCLA: There will be a competition meeting today (friday during seminar). Please use your remind pass to show to your seminar teacher. If you do not have remind please get a pass from Mrs. Blake. Our next general membership meeting will be MONDAY November 14th during seminar, and after school if you can’t make seminar. Snacks will be provided at the after school meeting. Please get a pass from me or use remind message for seminar meeting.
Any current sophomore or junior interested in a Eaton ISD program for next year, please stop into Student Services to sign up for the field trip which will be held on Tuesday, December 20th. There are a wide variety of career programs to choose from. You must attend the field trip if you want to be considered for a program.
Athletics / Recognitions
