“Class of” car decals will be sold this week at lunches.  We need 2 ART CLUB members to help out at the table each day this week.  Stop by and see Ms. Norman today after announcements if you are interested in helping at lunches.  

Ceramics and drawing students from NW1 your artwork is ready to be picked up in Ms. Schultz’s room. Artwork must be picked up by this Friday. (11/17)

The Improv Troupe will be having a meeting after school today in the IDEA HIVE.  If you love a good laugh, want to work on being quick on your feet, or simply enjoy connecting and collaborating with others who are not afraid to look stupid come check it out. Remember, Amy Poehler said --"No one looks stupid when they're having fun."  In a world where adaptability, creative problem solving, positive risk-taking, and empathy are in high demand the information and activities you'll gain at the Improv Troupe meetings and rehearsals will without a doubt be put to good use time and time again both on and off stage..  (11/15)

Attention NHS members who are helping with the induction on Nov. 30th- Friday during Seminar there will be an important meeting in Mr. Croley's room. Please make every effort to attend. Again, this meeting is only for those affiliated with the event on the 30th. (11/17)

To any student who has an overdue library book! Please either return your book or renew it, asap. Late notices and fines will be sent out by the end of the week! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Sheridan. (11/17)

Key Club Dues Extension:  You will have until the end of this week to turn in your $15 dues!  Please take to the main office.  There will be a meeting this Friday, Nov. 17th, during Seminar, in the presentation room.  Please attend of possible!  We’ll be discussing officer positions & elections, and upcoming activity opportunities going into the holiday season.

D & D meeting - Wednesday November 15th - please go to Mr. B’s room after announcements during seminar for information about Dungeons and Dragons club.

After school on Thursday, Nov 16, the D&D club will play in Mr. K’s room until 5:00pm.

Then, on Monday November 20th, D&D players can campaign in Mr. B’s room until 5:00pm

Book Club - We will meet in Mr. B’s room on Friday November 17th during seminar, after announcements. We will talk about book club communication through REMIND, and the Blog. This way, as you read Looking for Alaska, by John Green, you can comment on the story as you go. Book Club members are encouraged to visit the Book Club blog over the next month to share reactions to the story. We will meet at Schuller’s in East Wood Town Center on Sat. December 9th, at 2:00pm - till rougly 3:30 in order to sip drinks, chat about the novel, and cote on the next book. (11/17/17)

SAT Diagnostic Test Workshop - Saturday, December 2.  Sign up through DeWitt Community Education.  There are flyers in Student Services as well.

Sophomores and Juniors - There will be a visit to the Eaton Career Prep program on December 19th.  You must choose three programs to look at.  Sign up at Student Services!

     Student Services wishes to congratulate Sydney Foster for being selected to participate in the HOBY Leadership Conference this coming June.

Athletics / Recognitions

Any varsity football players participating in the Adopt-a-Panther Program, this Friday the 17th will be your last time visiting your classroom at Schavey during seminar.  Please see Coach Wilson if you have any questions or conflicts with attending.

Attention All Girls playing soccer:  We will have a meeting today during seminar in Sensei’s room (room 238).  11/15

A double shout out to the Varsity Quiz Bowl team.  On Saturday they took third place at the Holland Invitational Tournament and qualified for the state championships in April.  Then they followed up with an exciting victory over Lansing Catholic on camera yesterday at the WKAR Quizbusters Tournament.
