SAT Test Workshop on December 3-DeWitt Community Education and Sylvan Learning Center is offering a SAT Workshop on Saturday, December 3 at DHS. Registration is open to DHS juniors (1st) and sophomores (2nd), then other school district students after November 1. Check out the DeWitt Community Education website to view the class flyer or to register. Don’t miss the great opportunity for SAT instruction.


ART CLUB.  There will be a meeting today in Ms. Norman’s room.  Please bring your dues and calendars.  See you then! (11/30)


Today will be a NHS meeting in Mr. Croley's room.  All members new and returning should be in attendance.(11/30)


Sophomores-If you are interested in applying for the Michigan Youth Leadership Conference please pick up and application in the main office. Applications are due by December 9.  


Japanese Club Members:  We will meet next Wednesday, Dec. 7th in Sensei’s room

during seminar. Please come and get a pass before the meeting from sensei.  (12/7)


FCCLA: There will be a general membership meeting on today during seminar, if you can’t make it please see Mrs.. Blake asap. There will also be a competition meeting Friday during seminar.


SEA Club- We will meet in Mr. Thelen’s room on Friday, Dec 2nd during seminar.  Please stop by sometime this week to get a pass.(12/2)


Marching Band Members who ordered pictures taken at camp, they are in. See Mr. Norman before school or Zayra to pick them up. (12/1)

College Visit - Eastern Michigan University will be visiting today during Seminar.  Sign up in Student Services if you wish to attend.


Athletics / Recognitions


The Girls Varsity Basketball team opened the season with a 60-12 victory over Lansing Everett last night.  Grace George led all scorers with 16 points, while Maddie Petersen added 12 points and 6 steals.  Jessah McManus scored 11 points and Mackenzie Dawes dished out 6 assists.  The girls will host Grand Ledge on Friday in a home tripleheader starting with the 9th grade game at 4:00.
