DeWitt Creativity Group will hold a meeting on Friday, October 23, 2015 in Mr. Croley’s room during Seminar. The focus of the meeting will be on the fashion industry. Fashion Designer Jonathan Arias will present information about his apparel start up company and discuss with students how they can start their own fashion lines. Please read (10/21-10/23).

Sign up for the practice SAT is now available online through DeWitt Community Education. The full practice SAT will be held on Saturday, December 5 from approximately 7:45 am - 1:00 pm. Cost is $35.00. There is limited space for this practice test.

Athletics / Recognitions
All girls interested in trying out for girls basketball in November: Be sure to have your athletic physical completed and turned in to the athletic office before tryouts begin on Monday - November 9th. Varsity tryouts will run from 3:00-5:30 that week in the high school gym, while JV and 9th grade tryouts will take place at Herbison Woods from 3:30-5:30 each day. Congrats! To the DeWitt Girls Cross Country team for winning their third league jamboree and winning the CAAC REd Division Championship last night here at DeWitt!
The Panthers were led by Katie Vitou who was 1st Team all league and ran a personal best (18:59:8). Katie also set a new DeWitt course record with that time replacing Emily Murdoch’s record of (19:07). Hannah Adler was third overall and all league 1st team. Ashley Ships was fourth overall and 1st team all league. Natalie Yabs was 10th overall and 2nd team all league. Stephanie Robinson was 17th and 2nd team all league. Ashley Brzozowski was 16th and was league honorable mention. Kara Johnson was 14th and 2nd team all league. Great Job Ladies! (10/21)
