Haunted Halloween Trail: The Renaissance and Outdoor Adventure clubs are hosting a haunted halloween trail, Please join us Friday after the football game until 11pm or Saturday from 7 - 10 pm.  Find us at the Cross Country course starting spot, if you DARE. Price is $2 per person.  We recommend 10 years or older    

Attention Flag Football fans-DARA is hosting a flag football tournament on Sunday October 30.  Registration forms are in the office or register online at www.dewittrecreation.org

It’s red ribbon week-  SADD members will be giving out RED RIBBONS to all students who choose to be Drug and Alcohol Free. Pick up a red ribbon at lunch. Wear it proudly all week, all month, all year!

FCCLA: there is an FCCLA meeting today during seminar in Mrs. Blakes Room

Today there will be a DeWitt Creativity Group meeting and Pride Alliance in Mr. Croley's room during Seminar.

Senior NHS members interested in collecting three hours of service should see Mr. Croley for a unique opportunity this evening. Three to five people are needed. If you are interested please see Mr. Croley during Seminar for further details.

SPANISH CLUB-  We’re having a Spanish Scrabble Tournament today during Seminar. All members are invited to participate. See you in room 128 after announcements!

SAT Test Workshop on December 3-DeWitt Community Education and Sylvan Learning Center is offering a SAT Workshop on Saturday, December 3 at DHS. Registration is open to DHS juniors (1st) and sophomores (2nd), then other school district students after November 1. Check out the DeWitt Community Education website to view the class flyer or to register. Don’t miss the great opportunity for SAT instruction.

ART CLUB meeting this friday, Oct. 28th during seminar in room 301.  Please be there.  Lots to go over for upcoming dates and events.

Student Services:

     The HOBY State Leadership Seminar application is due to Student Services on

     Tuesday, November 8.

College Visits: Grand Valley and Eastern Michigan University will be here today during seminar.  Grace Bible College will be visiting on Friday.  Sign up in Student Services if you wish to attend.

Tutor opportunity:  Any sophomore, junior or senior interested in tutoring, applications are now available in Student Services.  We are still in need of students for tutoring.

Athletics / Recognitions

DeWitt Baseball winter training is set to begin next week.  If interested in playing baseball, please sign up in the office by Thursday.  All boys, grades 9-12 must sign up for baseball in order to get off-season workout information.  Sign up in the office today.
