Do you want to join a club that makes our school a better place? The Renaissance Club  will be having a first meeting on Friday, October 30th in the library during Seminar.  Come check it out.  

DeWitt Creativity Group will hold a meeting today in Mr. Croley’s room during Seminar. The focus of the meeting will be on the fashion industry. Fashion Designer Jonathan Arias will present information about his apparel start up company and discuss with students how they can start their own fashion lines. Please read (10/21-10/23).

Marching Band: If you have a sectional, please come to the band room.

Key Club: Please see Mrs. Schafer TODAY if you want to attend Fall Rally on November 14th, at Plymouth high school.  The registration deadline is today!

Concession Volunteers Needed!   If you would like to work concessions this Friday at our home playoff game Vs. Haslett, please see Mrs. Schafer ASAP!  This will count for community service hours if you are in need!  Looking for 3-4 responsible students.  The money earned goes toward 2016 Post Prom.

Student Services:

College Visits today: Lawrence Tech will be here today.  Lake Superior State will be visiting on Friday, October 30. Sign up in Student Services if you wish to attend these college presentations.  

Sign up for the practice SAT is now available online through DeWitt Community Education.  The full practice SAT will be held on Saturday, December 5 from approximately 7:45 am - 1:00 pm.  Cost is $35.00.  There is limited space for this practice test.

HOBY Leadership Essay is due to Student Services by Wednesday, November 4.  

NCAA Eligibility Meeting: All juniors who have registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse please come down to the presentation room on Wednesday, November 11th during Seminar.  Brief meeting to go over eligibility requirements.

Athletics / Recognitions

All girls interested in trying out for girls basketball in November: Be sure to have your athletic physical completed and turned in to the athletic office before tryouts begin on Monday - November 9th.  (10/30)

There is a mandatory meeting today (Wednesday) in the Commons right after announcements for all girls planning to play Junior Varsity or 9th grade girls basketball. Coach Palmer and Coach Mills hope to see you all there! (10/28)

Girls interested in playing tennis this spring-if you are interested in pre season training at Court One please see Elise Ostrander or pick up a flyer in the main office.
