Key Club Members Our first large group meeting will be held on Wednesday October 5th during Seminar  in the library and/or after school in Mrs. Anderson’s room if you can’t make it to Seminar.  Attendance will be taken and sent out to staff for our Seminar Meeting.  Officers will be passing out passes Tuesday and Wednesday morning in front of room 221 - Mrs. Anderson’s room. DeWitt Panthers: SPIRIT WEEK is next week! Please have your teacher share your class’s spirit week video with you! Monday is PJ Day. Tuesday is Twin Day. Wednesday is USA day. Thursday is Hawaii day. And Friday is spirit day! And don’t forget to pre-purchase your tickets for homecoming during both lunches today! (10/5 and 10/7)

FCCLA  If you are working on the bullying prevention month activity please meet in room 132 on Monday after school. We are working on If you are planning on ordering a sweatshirt, get your order in (with size) by October 14th. The sweatshirts are $20. (10/5)

Spanish Club Members,  We are meeting today in room 128 during seminar. We will be discussing activities for the year as well as our upcoming field trip. I hope to see you there. This Friday Oct. 7th there will be a DeWitt Creativity Group meeting in Mr. Croley's room also known as"The Idea Hive" --Everyone who signed up for the DCG during Club Days should make every attempt to come down to this initial meeting as important upcoming initiatives will be discussed. Bring and friend and let your voices be heard..., your ideas turn to action, and your creativity be unleashed. The DCG... fostering a culture of helping others .

SEA- The Student Environmental Association’s first meeting will take place this Friday (October 7th) in Mr. Thelen’s Room during seminar.  All those interested in being a part of this club please attend.  

Attention All Seniors: If you want your photo in the yearbook you must send your photo to the yearbook staff by 3:00 on October 20th. Head shots should be a traditional studio shot featuring a dark background.  NO EXTERIOR PHOTOS will be accepted. Please make every effort to communicate with your photographer to ensure your picture gets in the book. Student Services:

Applications are now available for the HOBY State Leadership Seminar.  This is open to any Sophomore student who wishes to explore and cultivate their personal leadership skills to become leaders in their school and community.  Please stop into Student Services to pick up an application.

College Visits:  Saginaw Valley State University is visiting today during Seminar.  
There are several colleges visiting during October.  You must sign up in Student Services to attend.  There is a list in Student Services as well.

Seniors - if you are interested in receiving information on scholarships and other important information and reminders during your senior year, sign up for Mrs. Gerrish’s REMIND!  Information is in Student Services or check your GAPPS account for more information.

Tutor opportunity:  Any sophomore, junior or senior interested in tutoring, applications are now available in Student Services.  We are still in need of students for tutoring.

Athletics / Recognitions

Attention All Softball Players:  There will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 5th during Seminar in Coach Nolen’s room 237.  Make plans to attend. (10/3, 10/5)

Congrats to the following members of the girls golf team: Elaina DeRose, Mackenzie Smith and Morgan Colby all made first team All Conference at Monday’s league meet.  Lexie Brya and Erin Chapko both were Honorable Mention All Conference. Elaina DeRose tied for medalist with an outstanding round of 75 at Akers East course. That was her best score of the season. The girls compete in the Regional tomorrow. Good Luck ladies!  (10/5)
