Hello! My name is Sydney Martin, and I'm so excited to be a part of the Panther team!

I attended Central Michigan University and received my Bachelors in Sociology with a focus in Youth Studies, as well as a minor in Substance Abuse. I continued on at CMU and also earned my Masters in School Counseling (K-12) in 2023. I completed my internship at Mount Pleasant High School, and while I loved my time there, I was so thrilled to receive my position here to join the DeWitt community. 

My favorite part of my job is ensuring that all students have the ability to feel safe and welcome in our school, as well as ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive not only during their time with us, but in the world beyond. In my free time I'm normally watching movies or shows with my cats, or playing video games.
