Hello! 

I'm Sydney Martin, one of the great team of counselors here at DHS. I also coordinate our SAT/PSAT testing, Dual Enrollment, NCAA, and our brand new E-Sports and Video Game club! 

This is now my third (!) year being a panther, and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of the DeWitt community! DeWitt was my first stop after graduation from CMU, and I couldn't have picked a better spot to land. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Sociology: Youth Studies, as well as my Master of Arts in School Counseling, both from CMU (fire up chips). 

My favorite part of my job is ensuring that all students have the ability to feel safe and welcome in our school, as well as ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive not only during their time with us, but in the world beyond. In my free time I enjoying keeping different critters and watching them thrive in their naturalistic enclosures, spending time with my three cats (pictured above), and playing video games!
